From breakfast with Goofy to elegant seafood dinners, Disney’s Vero Beach Resort offers a variety of restaurants that will appeal to all members of your family

Relax on warm sand and play in the sparkling blue waters of Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. Just 2 hours southeast of Walt Disney World Resort, this elegant old-fashioned hideaway is located on Florida’s scenic Atlantic Treasure Coast near the charming community of Vero Beach. Get away from it all in spacious lodgings that provide the comforts of home with an idyllic beach practically at your doorstep.

The Vero Beach area offers activities that can satisfy everyone’s interests. Enjoy top Florida golf courses and a wide variety of shopping, from elegant boutiques to some of your favorite outlet stores. Nature lovers can indulge in miles of unspoiled beaches and the wonders of a nearby state park, botanical garden and river preserve. The Indian River Lagoon is home to 36 rare and endangered species, one-third of the U.S. manatee population and an unusual mix of flora, from ancient oak trees to swaying palms.

The resort shares space with the nesting grounds of the Loggerhead Sea Turtle. The Florida coast is their primary nesting area in the northern hemisphere. In keeping with founder Walt Disney’s conservation legacy, the beachfront resort was specifically designed to create minimal impact on the turtles’ nesting patterns. Each year, moonlight acts as a beacon to guide the hatchlings safely to the ocean, so the resort’s east-facing windows are tinted to diminish the impact of interior lighting, and no exterior lights face the ocean.
